Hello all,
I am excited to announce the performance I will be dancing in this weekend, {EN}COMPASS. This show features thirteen dances choreographed by student choreographers in a wide variety of dance styles including classical ballet, contemporary, modern, jazz, character, and others! I, alongside the stunning dancer, Hope Farrar, will be performing in the duet, HeartStrung, with choreography by Annastasia Beller. Below are the program notes for her piece,
HeartStrung was inspired by a story I never see onstage. I began with an exploration of gestures, eye contact, and selective physical proximity. The piece grew to encompass the individual styles and personalities of the dancers, creating a unique narrative that I alone could never tell.
